4 c. oatmeal cookie dough
2 pkgs. Better Than Cream Cheese
2 T. honey or maple syrup
3 c. fresh fruit
Spread cookie douigh over center of round cookie sheet covering at least half of the pan; keep a nice circle of dough. (Use any oatmeal cookie recipe of your choice.*)
Bake as directed until golden (cookie should be soft, not crisp).
Transfer to round platter while cookie is still warm (use spatulas for transfer).
Cool completely; set aside.
In mixing bowl combine Better Than Cream Cheese and honey or maple syrup.
Spread mixture on cooled cookie; arrange fresh fruit on top to decorate.
Cut into pie-shaped wedges; serve on dessert plates.
Yield: Eight servings.
Per serving: calories: 229; fat: 9 grams; saturated fat: 3 grams; sodium: 47 milligrams; carbohydrates: 36 grams; dietary fiber: 4 grams; protein: 4 grams.
Note: May use raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mandarin orange slices, and pineapple. Avoid fruits that turn dark quickly. May make 1-2 hours before serving.
